Serbia Nov 29, 2021. #1. Hello everyone , I own a 2006 2.0 TFSI and it began making a cyclic rattling noise which seems to be coming from under the timing belt cover. I listened near the cam chain which is on the other side of the engine and I still hear the same noise but it seems to be quieter and perhaps propagating through the engine bay QuickCambelt AKA Timing belt change on mates Audi A4 2.0 Diesel. After looking through my service history, Audi never state anywhere in the service schedule that the cam follower should be inspected, neither do they mention about replacing the chain and tensioner.. The only thing they recommend to change every 115000 miles is the timing belt.
